Venezuela!
The letter was written by Michael Jorrin. He wrote a small comment about the news posted by Nicholas Casey. The article pose us a vision of the crisis in Venezuela and the possible causes of the numerous riots in the country. The topic of the article is the HUNGER in Venezuela and the rebellions produced by the citizens. The document show how the families suffer because they didn’t have food in their refrigerators and didn’t have provisions for the next day. The supermarket is ransacked by the people , as they are lead to despair. The government reacts shooting and running over citizens that protesting because they are hungry.
This crisis can be said to be due to lower oil price what is the main economic resource of the country.
The nation is anxiously searching for ways to feed itself. In the article there are also some comments of the people like these : “My kids tell me they’re hungry,” Ms. Cordova said as her family looked on. “And all I can say to them is to grin and bear it.” Venezuela is convulsing from hunger.
There aren’t medicaments , foods, money, there aren’t nothing , there are only frustration, anger and hunger.
As a citizen said :“It is the meeting of hunger and crime now,” because the situation it’s going from bad to worst.
The opinion expressed in the letter is a reproach for not finding a quick fix.
Venezuela can find a good solution at this crisis. It’s a fertile country with adequate rainfall, they can feed itself or supply its own needs.
The letter it’s very small but it started with a small introduction and continued with some explanation of the cause of this crisis, accompanied by rhetorical questions and finally it concluded it with a possible action to take for save Venezuela from their sad fate.
If I was going to write an opinion letter the sections would it have are these:
( INTRODUCTION)beginning- states my opinion
( REASONS)middle-gives two or three reasons for my opinion
(CONCLUSION)end- tells the reader what action to take
